Recently, the International Electronics Industry Connectivity Council (IPC) survey interviewed hundreds of PCB circuit board manufacturers in three regions, including North America, Asia-Pacific and Europe, and found that 88% of the respondents experienced an increase in the delivery time of semiconductors and related components. In this case, 31% of the companies surveyed had an order delivery delay of 8 weeks or more. According to the survey, rising material and labor costs, backlogs of orders, and reduced inventories are the problems faced by the vast majority of electronics manufacturers. More than 50% of PCB manufacturers believe that material prices have risen significantly, and nearly 70% of companies have seen rising labor costs. In addition, the recruitment and retention of technical talents is also a big problem. More than 60% of companies in North America and Europe have difficulty recruiting technical talents. Supply shortages and other disruptions are currently affecting the global electronics supply chain and every downstream industry these manufacturers serve.
