Differences between PCB and PCBA

PCB refers to circuit board, while PCBA refers to circuit board plug-in assembly and SMT process.

One is finished board and the other is bare board

PCB (Printed Circuit Board) is called "printed circuit board", which is made of epoxy glass resin material. It can be divided into 4, 6 and 8 layers (multilayer circuit board) according to the number of signal layers, of which 4 and 6 layers are the most common. Chip and other chip components are pasted on the PCB board.

PCBA may be understood as finished PCB, that is, PCBA can only be calculated after all processes on PCB are completed.

PCBA=PrintedCirruitBoard+Assembly。

That is to say, the blank PCB is loaded by SMT and then goes through the whole process of DIP plug-in, which is called PCBA for short.

PCB (Printed Circuit Board) is the abbreviation of printed circuit board, which usually refers to the conductive pattern made of printed circuit, printed components or both on insulating materials and according to predetermined design as printed circuit. The conductive pattern that provides electrical connection between components on insulating substrate is called printed circuit. In this way, the printed circuit or the finished board of the printed circuit is called the printed circuit board, also called the printed board or the printed circuit board.
